Best Discord Stock Bots in 2026: An Honest Comparison

I’m the developer of Stocknotif, one of the bots in this comparison, so I’m biased. To keep this useful anyway, every bot below is described from its public listing, documentation or bot-directory entries, I say where the others are the better choice, and the Stocknotif section shows real screenshots instead of promises. Everything was checked in October 2026; bots change their features and prices often, so confirm on their pages before you commit.

The short answer

  • You want quotes and charts in a community server: Alpha.bot.
  • You want a personal watchlist, portfolio and price-level alerts: Investo.
  • You trade options and follow flow: the Unusual Whales bot.
  • You already pay for TradingView and want intraday indicator alerts: TradingView alerts sent to a Discord webhook.
  • You want indicator signals (RSI, MACD, moving-average crosses) once a day, without building anything: Stocknotif.

First, know which kind of bot you need

“Discord stock bot” covers three very different tools:

  1. Quote and chart bots answer commands such as /stock AAPL. Great for discussion; some add price-level alerts.
  2. Signal bots watch indicators and tell you when a condition is met (RSI oversold, a Golden Cross).
  3. Flow and news bots stream options flow, dark-pool prints or headlines into a channel.

The second question is timing. Live and intraday alerts matter if you trade within the day. If you hold for weeks or months, one end-of-day check is usually enough, and quieter.

Comparison table

Bot Best for What it alerts on Timing Free option
Alpha.bot Community servers (stocks and crypto) Price levels (Pro plan) Live quotes Yes, quotes and charts; alerts are Pro
Investo Personal watchlist and portfolio Price crossing a level (DM), daily digest Live quotes Pricing not published
Unusual Whales Options traders Options flow, dark pool Live See their pricing
TradingView + webhook DIY traders already on TradingView Any indicator or strategy Intraday, your timeframe No, needs a paid TradingView plan
Stocknotif Swing and long-term investors 15 technical signals, fundamentals, target prices Once a day Yes, 3 stocks and 3 signals

The bots one by one

Alpha.bot

One of the most widely used market bots on Discord: its listings cite more than 25,000 communities. It covers stocks and crypto, with quotes, charts and paper trading on the free tier. Watch out for: price alerts are a Pro feature, and alerts are price levels, not indicator conditions.

Investo

A personal-investing bot: /stock for quotes and charts, /watchlist and /portfolio with live profit and loss, /alert to get a DM when a ticker crosses your price, and /digest for a daily summary. It covers stocks, crypto and commodities. Watch out for: alerts are price levels only, and its listing doesn’t publish pricing.

Unusual Whales bot

Built for options traders: options flow, dark-pool data and market analysis from Unusual Whales. Watch out for: it’s built around Unusual Whales' data products, so check their pricing first, and it’s overkill if you buy and hold stocks or ETFs.

TradingView alerts to Discord

The most flexible option: any indicator, any strategy, any timeframe, sent to a Discord webhook. Watch out for: alerts on indicators and webhooks require a paid TradingView plan and two-factor authentication, and you usually need a relay such as Make to format the message for Discord. You also build and maintain every alert yourself.

Stocknotif

Stocknotif checks your watchlist once a day and sends the signals that fired as a Discord direct message (or on Telegram). You don’t draw anything or write alert rules: you pick stocks and tick the signals you care about.

This is what a real digest looks like:

Stocknotif daily Discord alert: RSI below 30 on AAPL, NVDA and CW8.PA

That March 31, 2026 message flagged RSI below 30 on Apple, NVIDIA and the Amundi MSCI World ETF on the same morning. The overlap isn’t a coincidence: Apple and NVIDIA are among the MSCI World’s largest holdings, so the ETF partly echoes the other two. Seeing them side by side shows how concentrated a watchlist can be, which three separate price alerts wouldn’t.

The signals it checks:

Type Signals Plan
Buy Daily price change (the session closes 5% or more below its open), RSI(14) below 30, Golden Cross (50-day SMA crossing above the 200-day) Free
Buy 52-week support rebound, price drop with volume spike, MACD bullish crossover, Bollinger lower-band touch, Stochastic oversold, Parabolic SAR buy Premium
Sell RSI(14) above 90, Death Cross, MACD bearish crossover, Bollinger upper-band touch, Stochastic overbought, Parabolic SAR sell Premium
Fundamental P/E or P/S over- or undervalued, earnings surprises, declining EPS growth, new quarterly and annual reports Premium
Price targets Your own target buy and sell prices Premium

You choose signals in the dashboard, globally for your whole watchlist or per stock. On Premium, each stock also gets its own target buy and sell prices:

Every signal is logged, so you can look back at what fired and when, or export it as CSV:

Two behaviours to know:

  • Condition signals repeat; crossovers don’t. A state such as RSI below 30 fires every day it stays true: the history above shows Apple’s on six consecutive days (August 14–19, 2026), so expect repeats during long pullbacks. Crossovers (Golden Cross, MACD) fire only on the day the lines cross.
  • Signals can disagree. In the run below, BTC-USD fired a Parabolic SAR buy and a Bollinger upper-band sell at the same time: the trend indicator said “up”, the volatility band said “stretched”. Stocknotif reports both rather than picking one for you; that judgement stays yours.

Watch out for: Stocknotif is not real-time. It sends at most one digest a day, so it’s the wrong tool for day trading, and it doesn’t cover options flow or news. The free plan is limited to 3 stocks, 3 signals and a fixed notification time. Premium (unlimited stocks, every signal, your own notification time and timezone) is $4.99/month, $2.03/month on the 2-year plan, or $149 once.

Setting up Stocknotif on Discord

  1. Add Stocknotif to Discord and authorize it. Alerts arrive as direct messages, so you don’t need to own a server.
  2. Type /alerts in Discord, or sign in to the dashboard, and add up to 3 tickers on the free plan, from US or international exchanges, crypto pairs included (AAPL, NVDA, CW8.PA, BTC-USD…).
  3. Tick the signals you want. The free plan comes with Daily price change, RSI below 30 and Golden Cross.
  4. Wait for the next daily check. You only get a message on days when at least one signal fires, and on most days most stocks trigger nothing, so silence is normal.

The dashboard shows what’s being monitored and when it was last checked:

How to choose

  • How often do you trade? Within the day: you need live or intraday alerts (TradingView, quote bots). Weekly or longer: a daily digest is calmer and enough.
  • Price levels or indicators? Most bots only alert on price levels. Indicator alerts mean TradingView or a signal bot.
  • Channel or DM? Community bots post in channels; personal bots DM you.
  • What does “free” include? Check whether alerts are in the free tier, not just quotes.
  • Your markets: if you hold European stocks or ETFs, check the bot recognizes their tickers.

Stocknotif sends automated signals for information only. Nothing here is financial advice; investing involves risk, including loss of capital.

Frequently asked questions

Are there free Discord stock alert bots?

Yes, but “free” usually means quotes and charts, not alerts. Alpha.bot’s free tier covers quotes, charts and paper trading, with price alerts on its Pro plan. Stocknotif’s free plan sends technical signals (RSI below 30, Golden Cross, a 5% drop within the day) for up to 3 stocks.

Can I get RSI or MACD alerts in Discord without TradingView?

Yes. Most Discord bots only alert on a price level, so indicator alerts usually mean a paid TradingView plan plus a webhook relay. Stocknotif computes RSI, MACD, moving-average crosses, Bollinger Bands, Stochastic and Parabolic SAR itself and sends the signals that fired in a daily Discord message.

Are Discord stock bots real-time?

It depends on the bot. Quote bots like Alpha.bot and Investo show live prices, and TradingView webhooks fire intraday. Stocknotif is deliberately end-of-day: it checks once a day and messages you only when a signal fired, so it suits swing and long-term investors, not day traders.

Do Discord stock bots work with European stocks and ETFs?

Many do. Stocknotif covers US and international exchanges, including Euronext listings such as the Amundi MSCI World ETF (CW8.PA), and shows prices in the listing’s currency.

Is a Discord stock bot enough to trade on?

No. A bot tells you a condition was met; it doesn’t know your plan, your risk or the news. Use alerts as a prompt to look closer, not as an instruction to buy or sell.
